Dim dim dim song. Dim dim light lyrics. Damdoum. I like the books, and the movie follows the book fairly well and the heart of the story is there.
The problem I had with the movie was two: timeline and visuals.
In the movie, we have no sense of the time passing. It goes so fast. The period Edward fights to stay away from Bella is almost gone, which makes comments like "can't stay away from you" and "your mood swings give me whiplash" strange.
In the book, it is a lot of thoughts and talks, not much of visuals to build on. To transform a book of this kind to something worthy of moving image is hard but not impossible. This movie is a feeble attempt. The images do not tell the story as they should. They are only pointless surroundings for their talk - interesting dialogs from the book cut to oblivion to fit the needs for a movie.
I liked the acting, and some scenes truly vibrated of realism and emotions.
